Jermey Patrick Gable
Jermey Patrick Gable, 31, a former youth minister at the First Baptist Church of Port St. Lucie, Florida charged with sexual battery for improperly touching a 15-year-old girl was sentenced to five years of probation Tuesday as part of a plea deal with prosecutors for reduced charges.

In exchange for a guilty plea to a reduced charge of child abuse, Gable was sentenced to five years of probation, ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation, complete 75 hours of community service each year and have no unsupervised conduct with girls under age 18.
Gable was accused of inappropriately touching the girl while the two painted a church office. The girl also accused Gable of propositioning her for oral sex.
Reportedly during the course of the investigation Gable failed three polygraph tests about what occurred, while the girl passed a similar test regarding her allegations.
Gable reportedly plans to move with his wife and son to Georgia and will no longer work as a minister.
