Bruce Smith Busted
Bruce Smith, 58, of Frankfort, Illinois, reportedly an information technology administrator at South Suburban College was busted Friday when he allegedly showed up at a Grayslake apartment complex for a little sex with a teenage boy.
Smith is accused of striking up an Internet relationship four months ago with someone he thought was a 15-year-old boy who in reality was an undercover detective with the Lake County sheriff’s Office.
It is alleged that when Smith showed for the ‘meet up’, he was arrested and officers seized a gym bag filled with pornography, sex toys, a camera and condoms from Smith at the scene.
Later that day officers reportedly conducted a search of Smith’s home seizing his computer for forensic analysis.
One would think that an information technology administrator would be more ‘net smart’ that to get caught up in one of these stings…
