Thomas Vascotto Busted
Thomas Vascotto, 46, of Cynthiana, Kentucky allegedly traveled to Pennsylvania to have sex with what he thought was a 13-year-old girl.
Boy, was he surprised!
Officials arrested Vascotto on Saturday in Butler County, Pennsylvania when he arrived at a meeting place he allegedly set up with the 13-year-old. Which you guessed it didn’t you? Yep, it was an undercover agent awaiting Vascotto, who was promptly arrested.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett says that Vascotto explained in graphic details sex acts he was going to preform on the child and that Vascotto encouraged her to attend the University of Kentucky so that they could continue their sexual relations.
Vascotto is charged with 33-counts of dissemination or possession of child porn, 11-counts of attempted unlawful contact with a minor, 11-counts of obscene or sexual performances and one count of criminal use of a computer.
Vascotto is in the Butler County Prison on $100,000 cash bail and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for tomorrow.
Reportedly, Vascotto is the 86th ‘bustee’ of Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett’s “child sex sting” operation.
