Jacksonville John Sting

Jacksonville, Florida police set up a phony escort service, advertised it both in newspapers and on the internet and managed to sting a total of 33 ‘johns’ charged with soliciting a prostitute.

Among the more notable ’stung’ during the three-day operation are allegedly Frank Morandi, 43, who until Thursday was a teacher and head basketball coach at The Bolles School and Paul McDavid, 37, a lieutenant with the Jacksonville Fire Department.

Others arrested include an Brian Dunmore, a Yale University graduate who listed him employer as the PGA Tour, and Robert Handmaker, reportedly the owner of Cruiser’s Grill at the beach.

Along with a Duval County schools employee and a couple of sailors.
