The Streaking Catholic Priest
The Reverend Robert Whipkey, 53, a Catholic priest from the Denver, Colorado area has been busted for indecent exposure on allegations that he went for a nude early morning jog because he sweats profusely.
The good father was busted when an off-duty police officer allegedly saw him jogging in the nude about an hour before sunrise in June. When questioned by officer Whipkey allegedly said he had been running naked at a high school track and did not think anyone would be around at that time of day.
The Archdiocese of Denver said it takes the incident seriously but is awaiting the outcome of the case. In the mean time Whipkey remains an active priest presiding at three parishes in the area.
The indecent exposure charge against Whipkey is a misdemeanor however if convicted Whipkey would have to register as a sex offender.
Whipkey was busted back on June 22nd, however it has taken this long evidently for the news to ‘leak out’.
That’s some kind of cover-up…
