Shannon Mandeville Busted
Shannon Mandeville, 34, a British literature teacher as well as assistant football coach and head track coach at Flowery Branch High School, in Flowery Branch, Georgia has been busted in an internet sting conducted by the White County, Georgia Sheriff’s Office.
Allegedly Coach Mandeville had an explicit on-line conversation with a White County Deputy posing as young girl.
Mandeville has been charged with three felony counts of violating the computer or electronic pornographic child exploitation act, and one count of obscene internet contact with a minor.
White County, Georgia Sheriff’s officials said that Mandeville’s arrest was part of an ongoing online investigation conducted by sheriff’s deputies and that the investigation of Mandeville began on July 26th.
Mandeville who was busted at the school on Wednesday morning is scheduled for an initial court hearing today at which bond will likely be set.
Mandeville had been suspended from teaching and coaching duties pending the outcome of the investigation.
