David Scondras Pleads Guilty
David Scondras, 61, of Cambridge, Mass. a former Boston city councilor pleaded guilty earlier this week to enticing a child under 16.
Scondras avoided jail time in a plea deal with prosecutors under which he was sentenced to 18 months’ probation, ordered to surrender his computer, and stay off the Internet and away from children younger than 16 and to register as a sex offender.
Scondras was busted in an internet sting last October when he showed up at a Lawrence school parking lot with lubricant and booze allegedly in hopes of some hot action in the woods with a 15-year-old boy he’d met online.
Turns out the 15-year-old boy was actually a cop…
