Colorado Men Busted
Two Colorado residents, Scott Allan Chavez, 25, of Aurora, and Gregory Alan Sallee, 33, of Colorado Springs, have been busted in an apparent internet sex sting in Mesa County, Colorado.
Reportedly Chavez turned himself in to the Mesa County Jail after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Sallee was taken into custody by military police at Fort Carson, Colorado on August 21st and was first held in the El Paso County Jail and subsequently transported to the Mesa County Jail.
This should all be “old hat” for Sallee who was reportedly arrested in April in Golden, Colorado on suspicion of Internet luring of a child, sexual exploitation of a child and promotion of obscenity to a minor.
According to The Daily Sentinel:
If Chavez and Sallee are connected to Mesa County’s Internet crimes investigation, which involved investigators posing as 14-year-old girls online, they will be the seventh and eighth men apprehended in the sting.
Apparently, as the old saying goes, there’s nothing like doing the easy ones twice…
