BIG Whoopsy

Meet Wesley Evans, 39, and wife Jennifer Evans, 33, formerly of Pahrump, Nevada.

These folks are now residents of Florida, owing to what has to be one of the classic internet stings and biggest whoopsies of all times.

An internet sting which resulted in Wesley being sentenced to 15 years in prison and Jennifer being sentenced to 10 years.

Wesley and Jennifer were ‘stung’ by Detective Neil Spector with the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office who was posing as a 15-year-old girl named Suzy in an Internet chatroom earlier this year.

Wesley decided he wanted ‘Suzy’ to runaway from her Florida home and come to Nevada to become his sex slave. Jennifer, who was working “70 hour weeks” at her job at Wal-Mart was all for the idea, saying she was unable to fully take care of Wesley’s sexual needs, plus some help around the house trailer in Pahrump would be nice.

Since Wesley and Jennifer did not want to scare ‘Suzy’ off, Wesley did not reveal he was married and that the couple had a teenaged son, so Jennifer was never mentioned in the internet chats. Knowing that ‘Suzy’ once she arrived in Nevada would be upset over discovering Wesley’s family, Jennifer being the dutiful wife made a video for ‘Suzy’.

Thanks to WBPF TV, a copy of Jennifer’s video for ‘Suzy’ is available for the world to see. In one segment titled, “Jennifer Evans Introduces Herself“, a giggling and smiling Jennifer does just that with “Hi Suzy, welcome to Las Vagas and your new home. I’m Jennifer“.

In another segment titled, “Jennifer Evans give a tour of their home” Jennifer does the “grand tour” of the trailer house and introduces Suzy to the family dog.

In the segment titled, “Jennifer Evans Discusses Couple’s Plan“, Jennifer gets down to brass tacks describing how she had rather share than loose Wesley owing to her inability to take care of his sexual needs, how she is looking forward to having Suzy there to share not only the sexual duties but also the household duties and how the three of them are going to be such a special family.

And finally Jennifer wraps things up in the segment titled, “Jennifer Evans Says Goodbye“.

In addition to sending a nude picture of himself to ‘Suzy’, Wesley eventually sent her an electronic plane ticket to fly the girl to Las Vegas from West Palm Beach, Florida.

In one exchange between Wesley and ‘Suzy’, he wrote, “This is so dangerous for me. FL loves to nail guys like me. I saw Dateline.”

Evans encouraged the girl to make the trip and included the advice, “the idea here is for you to escape without a trace.“. Evans also cautioned the girl about speaking to anyone during her trip, writing, “there are a lot of charming snakes in the world. A good rule of thumb is, the nicer the person, the more dangerous and/or deranged.”

The plan was complete and Detective Spector, aka Suzy, informed Wesley that “she” would meet him at the Las Vegas airport on March 13th.

Police busted Wesley as he was entering the McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. At the time of his arrest Evans was carrying a digital camera, a bouquet of roses and a key card to a hotel room in Las Vegas.

When police went to the Evans trailer they seized two computers, electronic media, documents, about two ounces of marijuana and pornography. When Jennifer Evans admitted knowing of her husband’s intent to sexually abuse ‘Suzy’, she too was arrested.

Apparently the plan was for Wesley to reveal the existence of his family only after his initial sexual encounter with ‘Suzy’ in the Las Vegas motel room and the video featuring Jennifer was the key to that plan.

And it turns out that Wesley Evans was right.

Florida, like all states, does love to nail guys like him, as they are predators of the worst sort.

As for Jennifer – she is not going to have to worry about taking care of Wesley’s sexual needs or those long hours at the Wal-Mart for a long time.

Both of them should have paid a lot more attention to those “Dateline” shows…
