Kent Merrill Adamson, 45, of Creston, Iowa has been arrested and is facing federal charges of transporting obscene materials to a minor and coercion and exploitation of a minor.

It is alleged that between January 29 and July 26 that Adamson communicated with a special FBI agent who was working undercover and claimed to be a 14 year old female from Portland, Oregon and that over time that Adamson had 23 chat conversations with the supposed 14-year-old during which the chats were sexually oriented or sexually explicit.
